CowParade, an international art exhibition of life-sized fibreglass cows, has traveled through more than 50 cities worldwide, from Japan and New York to Buenos Aires and London. Inspired by the cow parade and its unique and colourful designs, The South African Gold Coin Exchange and its retail division, The Scoin Shop, has launched its exclusive, limited edition range of Scoin coins. They are 1oz, 24 carat, legal tender gold coins.
Additionally, The South African Gold Coin Exchange has
proudly joined forces with CHOC - Childhood Cancer
Foundation South Africa, by contributing 1% of all Scoin
coin sales to the charity.

The "Moodiba" Scoin
A celebration of Madiba's (Nelson Mandela) 85th birthday. This coin is a rendering from the cow painted by the Hardy Boys, as a birthday card from the children of CHOC (Childhood Cancer Foundation of South Africa).
The "Pi(cow)so" Scoin
This coin is a rendering of an abstraction of Picasso's work which inspired artist Annali Cabano-Dempsey to produce a design in the cubist style interjected with a vibrant African theme.
